Maybe you already decided to give up on meat (since you read this article), but if not, here are a few reasons why is it a good choice (or the best choice!).

Meet the Best Meat-Free Recipes
1. Vegan Meatballs
With this delicious recipe, you can make easily meat-free meatballs, which are more nutritious and healthier than the regular. Don’t be afraid, start experimenting!
2. BBQ-Braised Vegan Seitan
Seitan is a really good meat replacement and can be made in various ways. This BBQ seitan should taste delicious, but you need an air fryer to make it. Which is, by the way, a really useful thing to have in your kitchen because it makes cooking healthier.
3. Vegan Sloppy Joes with Tempeh
You know I love tempeh, and I think you will too if you try this recipe! 😉
Yumm, it looks so tasty! And you can make it at home, just follow the instructions in this recipe!
4. Tempeh Vegan Taco Meat
Who doesn’t like tacos, right? What if you could make your own?
This recipe is quite easy and quick, and I am pretty sure you will love it! 😉

7. Vegan Satay With Spicy Peanut Sauce
This recipe works with seitan (and I just got my wheat gluten delivery – yey!), which you can make at home or just buy at the store.
Oh, if you want to make your own – that I highly recommend because it’s so much cheaper – use this one I bought.
I think I will try Hanne’s Satay soon, it sounds so good, what do you guys think? 🙂
8. Texas BBQ Sausage Seitan Sandwich
Who doesn’t like sandwiches and burgers? Especially the ones that look like this! Yum, could someone make me one, please? 🙂
Seitan can be used in many ways and this texas BBQ flavour will leave you satisfied for sure!
9. Vegan Chicken Wings
Not exactly chicken of course, but something much better and healthier! This meat free meal is juicy and crispy at the same time to make you crave for more.
Also, if you don’t have tempeh at home, you can replace it with tofu or maybe seitan.
Look at this picture, it is perfect as it is!
10. One-Pot Vegan Chickpea and Chorizo Stew
I know chorizo sausages, we serve them in the Cuban restaurant where I work. I don’t like them… But they are not vegan.
This one is much more likeable! First, this is made from seitan and doesn’t contain fat pieces. 😀
Second, it comes with a delicious chickpea and sweet potato stew. I really like that this recipe is a one-pot meal.
11. Grillable Vegan Burger
Okay, McDonald’s, I think you can go back where you came from ’cause this guy has beaten you!
I think this is the best burger I have ever seen and I don’t even know how it tastes. But I will definitely try this recipe!
12. Vegan ‘Al Pastor’ Style Tacos
Okay, maybe tacos are my favourite, but they are so good!
There is always a debate about pineapple on pizza (honestly, I can’t decide, sometimes I like them, sometimes I don’t), but what do you think about pineapple in tacos? Grilled pineapples. Mmm, sounds interesting, but I would say, why not?
This picture makes it very appetizing – I admit that.
13. Plant-based Taco Meat
This one can be a little bit pricey because of the pecan nuts but I think it is worth it. Anyway, if you don’t want to use pecans, maybe you can add walnuts instead.
Another special ingredient is the sundried tomato, which I believe is a good addition to this meal.
It’s good on its own, but I would add more veggies because I like fresh vegetables in my tacos! 🙂
14. Versatile Vegan Meaty Crumbles
These Meaty Crumbles can be used in many ways, this is just one option, but I love it!
It’s made from cauliflowers, sun-dried tomatoes and pecans among other amazing ingredients. 🙂
15. Mongolian Seitan (Vegan Beef)
I don’t know about you, but I love Asian style food with sweet and juicy garlic soy sauce and fresh-cut spring onions. This one really looks like meat, but fortunately, it is completely meat free!
16. Vegan Seitan Ham with a Pineapple Mustard Glaze
Remember I said how awesome is seitan? This is another way to use it. Let’s make vegan ham from it!
Then you can make a really good sandwich from it or eat with your tofu scramble, the possibilities are endless! 😉
17. Vegan Breakfast Bird Nest
Do you want to make a cute snack for the summer party? This one is such a good idea! I am sure your guests will love it!
The sausage eggs are made from beans and wheat gluten, the nest is from potatoes, and they go perfectly together. 🙂
18. Vegan Pepperoni
What’s your first thought? Pizza, right? 😀
And yes, you can add this vegan meat free pepperoni on top of a pizza.
But be creative, try to use it another way as well!
19. Vegan Tempeh Bacon
I don’t need to say much, tempeh bacon is a must!
Crispy, tasty and healthy!
20. Pulled Jackfruit BBQ Sandwich
Oh, Jackfruit, you wonder! I still can’t believe it how much does it look like pulled pork…
And it contains so much fewer calories!
This BBQ sandwich is like a dream, and now you can make it at home. 🙂
21. Vegan Seitan Jerky (Buffalo and Thai Peanut)
Even just for a snack, this vegan jerky is a good choice. So crispy, savoury, healthy and cheap!
And you make it easily at home! Just be careful, you can be a jerky junky after this! 😀

And finally, another way to make “bacon”. So, this is not really a meat replacement, but it can be a very good addition to other meals.
