The Easiest Vegan Chocolate Dessert From Puff Pastry

Do you like dessert? Of course, who doesn’t? And what about chocolate? Is chocolate vegan? Yes, it can be! Usually, dark chocolates are vegan but always look at the ingredients. And if you found the right one, you can make this delicious, quick and easy vegan chocolate dessert with me. 😉

I was thinking a lot, what kind of dessert should I share with you, that looks pretty on pictures, easy to make and of course, delicious. If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that lately, I’ve been experimenting with a vegan chocolate cake/tart. I think I am close to finding the perfect recipe, and as soon as I have it, I will share it with you guys. 🙂

But until then, here is this awesome puff pastry recipe for you that you can make for your guests or just for yourselves. 😉

  • you only need 3 ingredients,
  • it is 100% vegan,
  • relatively cheap,
  • ready in 10 minutes,
  • no added oil/sugar/salt,
  • nut-free,
  • super tasty!

It is easier to make than you would think! You only need puff pastry, chocolate and frozen mixed berries.

How to make the best vegan chocolate dessert?

First, you should start by melting the berries. You can do this in the microwave, or in a pan continuously stirring. Just cut the pastry into triangles, put the berries on them and some chocolate chips.

After that fold the pastry like you see on the picture. Bake in a preheated (180 Celsius) oven for about 10 minutes. Always check, because they are ready in a sec!

Of course, you can be creative here, you can make little bags from the pastry or anything you fancy. 😉 For the filling, you can add some chopped nuts, instead of the berries, or maybe peanut butter or some kind of nut butter. Vegan Chocolate and Berries Pastry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 80 g frozen berries
  • 50 g chocolate chips you can use chocolate bar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven for 180 Celsius.
  • Put the frozen berries in a sauce pan and melt them while stirring.
  • Place the puff pastry on a flat and clean surface and cut it into triangles.
  • Put some melted berries and chocolate chips on the pastry.
  • Roll the pastry into small croissants and place them on a baking tray.
  • Bake them for 8-10 minutes.
